Join The Mountain Studio ambassador Mattias Hargin and friends in the big mountain heaven of Engelberg, Switzerland, for three days of adventurous skiing. Here, you'll develop your off-piste and powder skiing skills in some of Europe's best snow and terrain.

Engelberg's a mythical place in the ski world loved and cherished by freeride skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, the mountains here receive some of the biggest annual snowfalls in Europe every winter. At the heart of the lift system lies the mighty Mt Titlis, which offers almost endless possibilities for freeriding with its easy-accessible terrain and up to 2,000 meters of vertical drop.

At the centre of the local ski culture sits Ski Lodge Engelberg, the Swedish-owned hotel where most of the world's freeriding elite stop by at least once every winter. The bustling hotel bar is where people gather for après drinks after a big powder day and share their adventures.

The Mountain Studio ambassador Mattias Hargin has spent his last 15 winters, first between his competitions on the FIS World Cup circuit and later as a professional freerider and passionate powder hunter. Together with his team of local experts, he'll help you find the best skiing in the valley and give you the keys to unlock your full potential as a skier during an unforgettable weekend. Freeride Camp highlights

This weekend has been designed for you who's already a relatively experienced freeride skier and feel comfortable outside of the groomed slopes and in the backcountry. We welcome you who are motivated to develop, learn new things and be inspired by professional guides.

Our focus is to show you the best runs in Engelberg and create an adventure in the mountains. We'll mostly use the lifts but also do shorter or longer tours to reach untracked snow. The program will be adjusted according to the current snow and weather conditions, and together with our guides, we'll do everything we can to give you the best possible experience.

Mattias Hargin

Mattias is a Swedish former World Cup winner in slalom racing who has split the past 15 years between his native Stockholm and his winter home in Engelberg, where he knows every nook and cranny of the mountain. These days, Mattias is a professional freeride skier who has been filmed and photographed on mountains all over the world. He's also part of The Mountain Studio's marketing team.

Dani Perret

Our head of safety, Dani, is a certified UIAGM mountain guide living in Engelberg, where he runs the local mountain guide office. He's also the founder of the Mountain Camps concept and an ambassador for The Mountain Studio. Dani's passionate about sharing his knowledge about the mountains with his clients. His focus lies not so much on performance but on memorable experiences with the highest level of safety.

Piers Solomon

Piers is a professional freeride skier who was born and raised in the mountains surrounding Engelberg. According to us (and many others), he's one of the most stylish skiers in the world, with a fluent and powerful style of skiing that few others can match. He's an ambassador for The Mountain Studio and has travelled the world on countless photo and film missions. Piers also works with Dani Perret on their Pre Season Camps in Engelberg. In other words, he's used to teach and inspire other skiers in the mountains.
